Selection of Timbren Rear Axle Suspension Kit for 2006 Ford F250 Crew Cab Short Bed 4WD
Question:
I have a very large toy hauler 5th.wheel. The tongue weight is around 3000 lbs. Im about to order the Timbrens but just wanted to make sure which one to order. In my application, will I be ok with the FR250SDF or can I order the FRTT350F just to make sure I can handle the weight? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TFRTT350F is intended primarily for heavy-duty service vehicles but would work fine for your application. Both this kit and the lower-rated # TFR250SDF are confirmed fits for your 2006 Ford F-250 Crew Cab Short Bed 4WD.
For your reference I have linked the instructions for both kits along with a video on the TFR250SDF.
Please note that all suspension kits, including these Timbrens, are designed for use with vehicles whose suspension systems are in good working order; the kits do not increase the towing capacity of any vehicle.
