Rooftop Cargo Boxes to Fit Factory Roof Rack on 2014 Acura MDX

If your 2014 MDX has factory roof rack crossbars (that run from side to side on the roof and that you can reach under) then you can directly attach a cargo carrier that is designed to fit factory bars. The link provided will show you all cargo boxes that can directly mount to the typically wider crossbars on factory-installed roof racks. These include both metal baskets such as the Rhino-Rack # RMCB02 and plastic box types like the Thule Force Medium # TH6356B.
Please note that these cargo carriers have specific crossbar spacing requirements. You'll want to measure your crossbar spread from the center of one bar to the center of the other before selecting a carrier to ensure an easy fot on your MDX.
Often customers that use a rooftop cargo solution also choose a tire step to make it easier to load and unload their rooftop cargo. A good first step in selecting a rooftop cargo box is to confirm in your MDX owner's manual (or with your local dealership) the vehicle's rooftop weight limit.
