Parts Needed to Install a Proportional Brake Controller in a 2008 Kia Sorento

I have a 2008 Kia Serento LX, with no factory tow package or trailer wiring, I tow a small pop up trailer that has brakes. How do i wire a proportional brake controller to this vehicle

The first thing you will need to do is install a 4-way wiring harness on your 2008 Kia Sorento. For that you would need the Curt Upgraded Circuit Protected Tail Light w Converter Hardwire Kit # C59496. I attached installation instructions and an install video for you to check out.
Now you will need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that a brake controller can be installed and so you can connect to your pop up camper. For that you would need the Brake Controller Installation Kit 4-Way to 7-Way kit part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product for you to check out also.
