Is there a lock that comes with this rack that locks the removable 2 bike addition part to this rack? If not, what keeps someone from stealing the rear 2 bikes by removing the pin?

The pin that secures the two pieces of the rack together to make it a 4 bike rack actually is threaded so that it there is no movement between the two pieces. In order for someone to steal the back portion of the rack he would have to have the right size wrench to un-thread it. Most bike rack thieves don't run around with sets of wrenches on them so the odds are that your rack wouldn't get stolen like this.
