Can the Demco LED Light Bar Be Connected to a Splitter

Question:

Hi there So I’ve got this and I’m going to pair it with the rvibrake 3 to flat tow my 2024 Wagoneer. Two questions: 1 the 12v outlet that will stay on when the vehicle is off is in the rear of the vehicle. The light bar will reach but I’m going to have to use a splitter and a 12v extension cord for the brake I think. Any issues with that? 2 Is there any way to estimate how long I can use both items before I end up with a dead car battery since I won’t be hooked up to the motorhome power at all. Thanks!

Hey Steve, so in regards to your first question I don't see anything wrong with using a splitter and an extension cord with the Demco LED Light Bar for Towed Vehicles w/ Wireless Transmitter # DM36MV as long as it's getting 12V, and your cords are protected, it doesn't matter.

For your second question, there is not really a way to tell but since your Jeep does not have to have it's battery disconnected to flat tow, you shouldn't end up with a dead battery. If it turns out you need to disconnect the battery, then you'd just need # DM83FR which will give you power to your 12V port.
