Does the 2022 Jeep Cherokee TrailHawk Have the Death Wobble Issue When Flat Towing?

Question:

Hi, I've read your reply to Brian concerning all the parts needed to flat tow. However, while doing some other research, I came across the mention of my 2022 Cherokee Trailhawk needing a Mopar wiring kit to eliminate the death wobble. There's a mention of MOPAR part number is #68321424AD but I found where that does not fit the 2022. I've copied some text that was included in the thread: "The purpose of the flat tow harness is to ENERGIZE the ESS circuit while the car ignition is off, not to bypass it. The ESS must be energized to allow the wheels to follow the RV, and not be dragged sideways in a turn, causing wobble. This kit feeds battery power directly to the ESS system, and nothing else. You will also need a charge line from your RV with a diode installed or your battery will be drained after about five hours of towing." Are you familiar with this, is this required on my 2022? Trying to get things in order before we get ready to start flat towing and finding a lot of different information. Thanks for any help you can give.

I am familiar with it and no, you won't need the Mopar wiring kit. The death wobble issue was with the 2014 to 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawks. They've fixed that problem!
