Is There Design Flaw with Hopkins Brake Buddy Power Cord Still

I have seen two reviews about power cord coming lose and two replies from staff a couple years apart saying it is a design flaw. Has it been fixed yet?

Hey Robert, so yeah there was a design flow with the power cord of the Hopkins Brake Buddy part # HM39524 that you referenced but it was redesigned about a year ago so it's no longer an issue.
