How Do I Install The C13800 Coupler If The Tongue Only Has One Hole
Question:
How do I install a 13800 on my Montero 2001 if I see only one hole with nut at both sides? Please advise

Hello Anibal. The Trailer Coupler # C13800 does require 2 bolts for mounting to the tongue. If your trailer only has 1 bolt hole, a second hole will need to be drilled. The mounting holes need to be 3" apart on center. I am not sure how the original coupler was only installed with 1 bolt, but you will definitely need to add a second hole. For hardware I recommend you use the Curt Channel-Mount Coupler Hardware Kit # C25388.
