Beginning with the 2007 new body style, up until the 2013 1500 and the 2014 2500 and 3500 models, GM didn't use a connector under the dash for connecting the brake controller. Instead, under the dash between the emergency brake and steering column, you'll find a bundle of 4 or 5 wires (red/black striped wire, white wire, light blue/white striped, dark blue and maybe orange). This bundle of wires will be taped to a larger wiring harness, and should be labeled with a white tag.
Your brake controller would wire directly into the wire bundle, as mentioned below:
Red/Black tow package wire connects to black brake controller wire
White tow package wire connects to white brake controller wire
Light blue/white striped tow package wire connects to red brake controller wire
Dark blue tow package wire to dark blue controller wire
If an orange wire is present, you can coil it up out of the way. It is not needed.
I've linked you to a help article that runs you through the whole process, as well as to an install video showing a Prodigy P2 being installed on a 2007 Silverado New Body.
