Replacement Brakes for 2021 KZ Escape E181RB
Question:
I have a 2021 KZ Escape, Model E181RB. I want to service the brakes and need the correct part to replace the whole kit. Thanks.

To find the correct replacement brakes you will need to identify your axle capacity. Based on the specs of the trailer I'm sure you have a 3,500 lb or 4,400 lb axle. The Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes # K23-462-463-00 you looked at will work if you have the 4,400 lb axle. If you have a 3,500 lb axle you can use the # AKEBRK-35-SA or if you want to stick with Dexter the # 23-468-469.

So, if you did not get my last reply, my brakes label on the camper show 4,000 lb. I’m guessing that 4500 lb is the best option?
