Recommended Supplemental Braking System for a 2009 Honda Civic
Question:
Hi. I am looking at installing a Stay in Play braking system in a 2009 Honda Civic. Would you happen to have installation information? I dont believe there is enough room under the hood for the pump. Thanks

I have the installation instructions on how to get the Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo item # SM99251 set up but nothing specific on how to install it in a 2009 Honda Civic. What I can help you with is that the operating unit measures 8" long x 6-1/4" x 2-1/2" tall. We do have this braking system confirmed to fit your Civic so hopefully you can find the necessary room.
Another option is to install a portable system like the Blue Ox Patriot item # BLU37TR. This is one of our most popular and reliable braking systems for flat towed vehicles. It's easy to set up, break down, and can be used in multiple vehicles instead of permanently installed.
