Replacement Clearance Light Option For A 2012 Thor Hurricane 23A Motorhome

Question:

We are looking to replace the top front and rear clearance lights amber/red on a 2012 Thor Hurricane 32A motorhome. Can you help?

Hello Barbara, we certainly should have the correct replacement clearance lights for your 2012 Thor Hurricane 32A motorhome. That said, I do not have a way to know exactly what light you will need based on a year make and model of RV. Based on the pictures I can see online, the clearance lights look similar to the Optronics Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # MC32AB and # MCL32RB. These are 4" long x 2" tall x 1" deep LED clearance lights.

If this is not exactly what you have, feel free to send me the dimensions of the current clearance lights and I am happy to make a more accurate recommendation. There may be a part number on your lights or on the lenses, if you can send me that number, I should be able to cross reference and find the correct replacement.

Jesse: This is the number on the light Clearance Marker Light - 16-1/4 Inch x 1-7/8 Inch Rectangle Red - 1A-S-1700R I Googled and no one has it, is it possible that there's an update. Seems like there would have to be something available. Thanks for your help!

@BarbaraG Hello Barbara. So, we do have a great option for you, but I will tell you up front that we do not carry a direct replacement for the 1A-S-1700R light. It looks like these are made by Valterra. My research also indicated that this light is currently unavailable. We do have one option that is quite similar and is also readily available. I suggest you take a look at the following: - Peterson LED Identification Light Bar for Trailers over 80" - 6 Diodes - Rectangular - Red Lens # M169-3R This is a 16-1/4" long 1-1/4" tall red LED light bar. So it will be a bit smaller than what you have now, but it will fit very nicely in the same location.

@Barbarag No worries at all! This particular light does not come in amber. We do have one similar sized amber light bar part # 427800. But as you can see this is a bit different as it uses 3 individual lights. It still might work for you, overall it measures 16-5/8" long x 1" tall.
