Question:
Trying to figure out which sumo springs to use on a 2023 ford f 350 pulling a 12,000 pound Rv trailer with a tinge weight of approximately 1200 pounds Looking at the sumo springs either 1500 or 2800

Expert Reply:
Hello George, I definitely recommend going with the 2,800 lb Sumo Springs # SSR-127-54 for your 2023 Ford F-350. With your trailer being around 1,200 lbs of tongue weight we would be pushing the 1,500 lb springs pretty close to capacity and you may not see quite a much benefit as you would with the higher rated springs. I believe the # SSR-127-54 will do a better job supporting the load and improving your ride quality. It will also be an easy bolt-on install.
