Are There Electric Trailer Brakes To Replace Warner Brakes On a 1960's Trailer?

Want to update electric brakes on old trailer aprox 1960 with Warner brakes. Tandem axle trailer with hadco 5200 lb 4 in axles. Axle info: seal id 2.000, Inner bearing id 1.685, outer bearin id 1.250. Any solutions? Thanks, Bill

Unfortunately Bill, we are not going to have any parts that will let you keep your current axles. You can either look at getting replacement axles which I can help you find or you can look at installing the more common #42 Spindle # TRU37FR or # TRU39FR on your axle. These would need to be welded in by a shop with an axle jig to ensure they go on perfectly straight. If you can let me know what width axle you have from hub face to hub face and spring center to spring center I can determine if we have an option in stock.

With the spindles above you would need one Brake Kit # AKEBRK-7-SA and two Hub/Drums # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K per axle. This particular hub has the 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern. Please let me know what bolt pattern you need if this is not the size for your wheels and tires.
