How to Measure For Replacement Awning  

Question:

Looking to replace the complete awning along with arms and trailer bracket. The awning is 12ft and the pole on trailer is 8ft 6 in the outside slide release pole is 3 ft 7in and the inside slide is 4ft 2. I am not sure on how measurements actually go but here is my try.

Hi Joe; so to measure for a replacement awning what you need to do is measure from center to center of your current awning's arms. This will give you the correct awning width. You mentioned 12 feet for the awning, so for example if yours measured 12 feet wide center to center on the arms you could use the Solera XL 12V Power RV Awning - 12' Wide # LCV000334919-362241.
