Will The Solera Awning Conversion Kit LC759516 Work With The Existing Fabric And Roller On My RV?
Question:
I have a 15MTR-EDGEBK-58-SLDBK-TOPWIRE Lippert 12v system now that the arms got destroyed in a wind storm. Is this Solera Smart Arm Electric RV Awning Conversion Kit - Programmable - 12V - 63inch Arms - Black a direct replacement using my existing roller? Is there any other component I will need to replace my existing damaged system with this one seamlessly?

It sounds like you are on the right track here Ryan. The Solera Smart Arm Electric RV Awning Conversion Kit # LC759516 will indeed work with the existing fabric and roller on your RV. The conversion kit will come with everything you need to replace both of the damaged arms. You will want to grab some Butyl Tape such as the Alpha Systems Butyl Tape # AL28FJ to seal the wall of the RV. You may also want some Non-Sag Sealant # AL43KV, but other than that there is nothing additional you will need in order to install the awning.
I also suggest taking a look at the Wind Sensor for Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awnings # LC715123. This is an easy add-on and it will help protect your new awning from strong winds or unexpected storms.
