Is a Roof Rack Needed to Install Rhino-Rack Cargo Basket on a 2014 Toyota Tacoma

I have a 2014 Tacoma and it doesnt have a roof rack. Do I need a roof rack to attach the cargo basket to or can it go straight on the roof??

For a cargo basket such as the Rhino-Rack basket # RMCB you will need to have a roof rack first in order to mount the basket.
I have included a link to the roof rack main page for your 2014 Tacoma. It looks like it could have come with a factory roof rack, factory side rails only that run front to back, or a naked roof. If you can tell me what style roof you have and if it is an Access Cab, Double Cab, or Regular Cab, I will be happy to make some roof rack recommendations.
