Can The Flow Through Sensors In The TireMinder A1AS TPMS Be Used On A Rubber Valve Stems

Question:

My question is not so much with the entire kit, but with the flow through sensors. Your description and everyone else’s for that matter has always stated that the flow through Sensors should not be used on rubber valve stems and it forced people to upgrade to metal valve stems but now in your description all the flow through sensors say that they can be used on rubber chrome, metal nickel, and so forth. My question is, can these now be used on rubber valve stems?

The flow through sensors # TM66FR included in the TireMinder A1AS TPMS for RVs and Trailers w Signal Booster # TM86FR can be used on higher quality rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems that are rated. Lower quality rubber valve stems can bend and flex and with the weight of the sensors on them can eventually wear the rubber enough for a leak or complete failure. This is why TireMinder recommends switch to a sturdy metal valve stem to avoid any issues.

If you look at TireMinder's FAQ section they have a little gif that shows how flexible low quality rubber valve stems are versus a metal valve stem.
