Recommended Baseplate For A 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport With A Roadmaster Blackhawk Tow Bar

For a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport and Roadmaster Blackhawk tow bar # RM-422 you would need the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521453-5. If you haven't picked out the rest of your flat towing components then I have the following recommendations for you:
Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-152-1676-7. This wiring kit will display your motorhome's traffic signals through the tail lights of the Jeep. The straight portion of this cable will slip through the channels on the tow bar and the coiled portion will help to keep the cable up off the ground while towing.
Braking System: If your motorhome has hydraulic brakes then you'll need the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251. This has an indicator light which will need to tap into the brake light switch of your Jeep. Since this wire isn't useable in your Jeep you'll need to install the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490 to simulate this signal.
If your motorhome has air brakes then I recommend the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # SM99243. This has a reed switch so you won't need the stop light switch kit for the indicator light.
Safety Cables: Roadmaster 80" Hybrid Coiled-to-Straight Safety Cables - Double Hook - 8,000lbs # RM-674. This cable design will work the same way as the wiring kit cable to help prevent the cables from dragging on the ground while towing.
