Recommended SumoSprings for a 5th Wheel Trailer w/ 8,000 lbs Axles
Question:
Will item # SS26MV work on my 2019 Heartland Landmark 365 Lafayette? The spring plate is 4inch wide. I have 5inch from the top of the plate to the bottom of the frame with all leveling jacks retracted. If necessary I could cut away a small portion of the coroplast underbelly. Your thoughts please.

Welcome back! You do not need to cut anything away! So long as your 5" of clearance was measured with your trailer loaded and resting on the suspension you will be good. The SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs item # SS26MV include spacers that can be removed which will help with the clearance. SumoSprings recommends that there be between 1/4" and 1/2" of preload in the springs when installed anyways to reduce vibration.
The SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs item # SS26MV are designed for trailers that have 5,000 lbs to 8,000 lbs axles that sit below the springs. They are sold as a pair and you will need one set per axle. I have attached a couple of pictures below so you can see what these look like once set up.
