I understand the OD of a Thule/Yakima round bar is 1-1/8, but Im curious about the wall thickness and material. Can you help with any insight? Thanks,

I spoke with Yakima, and they told me that the wall thickness of their RoundBar Crossbars # Y00411 is .085" and they're made of vinyl coated galvanized roll-formed steel.
