Is There A Way To Secure The Front Two Panels Of The BAKFlip G2 Open While Driving

Question:

I know that you can drive with this cover fully closed, with 3 panels open and it clipped to the end, or with all four panels open and the cover leaning up and secured against the cab of the truck - is there a way to secure this cover with just one or two panels flipped open and be able to drive in that position?

There isn't a retention strap currently offered to keep the first two panels of the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK26204 open while towing but you could easily make two with some straps and side-release buckles. I recommend picking up the replacement strap/buckle kit # PARTS-356A0009 to get the correct size buckles and then cut the straps off and replace them with longer ones from your local hardware/department store. This kit comes with mounting brackets for the panel side that you can screw into the panel to mount the straps. The longer straps can then click into the buckles at the bulkhead and secure the first two panels open while you drive.
