Lithium Compatibility Of The Progressive Dynamics PD4500 Series Power Center
Question:
I have a 2017 pd4560k12ls8 converter. I am going to 2 LiFePO4 100 AH batteries in parallel. If I get a pd4560csv will I have to install a jumper to use lithium batteries? If I get a pd4560licsv will I have to add a jumper or is it ready for my lithium batteries.

The Progressive Dynamics REL 60A 4500 Series Inteli-Power Converter Section # PD4560CSV is designed for lead acid batteries, but a jumper can be installed to make it compatible with lithium as well. Progressive Dynamics has a great step by step instruction guide for installing switching over to lithium that I'll send you a link to separately.
The Progressive Dynamics Lithium 60A 4500 Series Inteli-Power Converter Section # PD4560LICSV is specifically set for lithium and you wouldn't be able to switch the jumper in order to switch back to lead acid charging profile.
I would double check your Progressive Dynamics 4500 Series Power Center # PD4560K18LS8 to see if you can't just switch the charging profile on your current converter instead of having to purchase a new one first.
