RV Vinyl Adhesive for Wood Floors

hello, I have a ford transit with a wood floor. I bought vinyl sheet flooring and want something that will permanently adhere the vinyl to wood. My vinyl sheet flooring is 10mm thick and doesnt have a backing just 10mil thick vinyl. is this the correct adhesive? and how is it different from the household vinyl sheet flooring adhesives? Thanks.

Yes, the RV Flooring Adhesive for Vinyl Over Wood # TS76FR is the correct adhesive to attach the vinyl sheet flooring you have now to your wood floor. This does not require the vinyl to have backing either. There's nothing super special about this that makes it different from adhesives you'd use in a home application.

Typically utility trailers will just use treated lumber for the flooring. We really only offer vinyl flooring like the RV Vinyl Flooring #TS77FR you were looking at, which is intended for use in an enclosed trailer. You could still use it on your…

I recommend using the 601 Flooring Adhesive in a 1 Gallon #TS76FR or 4 Gallon #TS26FR depending on your application. The 601 does not have the pressure sensitive requirements of the 801, 1 Gallon #TS86FR and 4 Gallon #TS58FR adhesives.
