Snow TIre Chains For 2018 Subaru Crosstrek With 225/60R17 Tires
Question:
Hi there, I just wanted to be sure I was looking at the right product for my 2018 Subaru crosstrek. The tire size is 225/60r17. I was looking at these chains: TH01221104 Was trying to research between cable chains and cheaper alternatives. I currently live in Colorado but plan to drive to California come Christmas time and don’t want to be stranded in Utah, Wyoming, Nevada, or the California Tahoe area lol. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Smart idea to get some traction devices, and I would absolutely go with snow tire chains over something cheaper. Even though you may not be using them, getting stuck would a pretty lousy ordeal. So let's keep you safe, and I think you made a great call for snow tire chains on your 2018 Subaru Crosstrek with 225/60R17 tires by going with the Konig Tire Chains # TH01221104.
These aren't super expensive relative to other snow tire chains, and would be what I recommended for you even if you hadn't mentioned them, so you have a good eye. The # TH01221104 have a diamond-pattern which covers more of the tire than any other pattern, and square links for good traction on both snow and ice, so no matter what you may encounter on your trek you'll be covered.
