Good evening, I’m looking for a rail and bracket kit for a Reese 16k pro series 5th wheel hitch. The truck is a 2006 Silverado 2500 HD 4wd. The Reese hitch part number is 50008 or 30098 what I’m seeing on the hitch it’s self. Thank you

Reese has a fifth wheel rail kit confirmed as a fit for your 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with the part # RP50064-58 which is also compatible with the Reese 16k hitch you mentioned as well.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
