What Setting for RAS HD Installed on 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

Question:

Just installed my new RAS3 611-HD on my 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab, standard bed, 4x4, w/camper package. Was really easy to install, still not certain what setting to put it at until I go to tow in the spring. I put this in in conjunction with a Rough Country 1.5-2inch leveling kit and it looks great. My question is when I put my Demco Autoslide hitch in the bed, approximately how much will it squat? Since I leave the hitch in the bed all spring through fall, Id like to level the front to the truck with the hitch in. Its a bit of a PIA to put the hitch back in to get an accurate height and was wondering if anyone would have a clue how much weight before the truck squats with the RAS HD installed. The hitch weighs Im guessing 600lbs.

We have no way of really knowing how much it will squat exactly since there are too many factors. It will also depend on the shape your suspension is currently in. Since it is a 2023 Silverado 2500 I would expect it to be in good shape unless you really put it to work this last year but that is just one of the possible variables.

Regardless, I would go ahead and start with the highest setting on the # RAS3611-HD. This will do the best job keeping you level with the 5th wheel hitch in and your trailer hooked up. I also wouldn't expect any difference on this setting vs the lowest for ride quality so you might as well go for the extra support.
