Why Is The Shank Of My Fastway WDH Rated For More Than The Rest Of The System
Question:
I have a Fastway e2 14000 lb. Hitch. The round spring bars are only rated to 10000 lbs is this a mismatched system?

It looks like that capacity is for the shank so it's highly likely that the shank that originally came with the system didn't have enough rise/drop and this new shank had the correct rise/drop but a bit more capacity. This is totally acceptable since the shank is rated higher than what the hitch is rated for. If it were rated for less then you would want to upgrade the shank. Fastway's largest capacity for round bar is 10,000lbs GTW / 1,000lbs TW with part # FA94-00-1061. Your system should be all good to go but would still only be rated for 10k GTW / 1k TW.
