Camper with Weak Marker/Running Lights on Right Side

Question:

Towing vehicle: 1998 Isuzu Rodeo, with 7-pole harness. Camper: 1979 Starcraft Starflite 6 with no brakes. As far as I can tell, all of the connections and grounds are good. I even replaced the electrical connectors and fuses on the camper frame. The bulbs are new. The problem remains weak right-rear camper tail-light and marker. The signals are fine, and the brake lights are fine. All other markers are fine.

Your best bet would be to trace the running light circuit from the trailer connector all the way back to the lamps. You will want to pay careful attention to the point where the running light circuit for the right side of the trailer splits off from the circuit for the left side. Since the lights on the left side are operating fine, the problem most likely exists in the portion of the circuit after it splits off to power the right-side marker lights. Check for pinched wires or cracked or worn insulation. You can also use a circuit tester, like # PTW2993, or a multimeter, # PT89ZR, to check the voltage along the wiring.
