Replacement 7-Way/4-Way Plug For 2017 GMC Sierra 1500

Question:

I have a 2017 gmc sierra 1500 with factory trailer plug 7 and 4 prong. I think that part unplugs and can be replaced . Do you make a factory replacement. I have a intermetent short between truck and my Rv trailer that I cannot pinpoint

While we do not make the factory replacement, we do sell the replacement 7-way/4-way plug for your 2017 GMC Sierra 1500. The correct part number is the following:

- 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975

While this does come with a bracket it's not something you'll be using, it's just only sold with the bracket. Also, to help prevent shorts, when installing the socket I do highly recommend using Dielectric Grease # 11755.
