Will Exhaust on 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Classic Crew Cab 4x4 Melt Timbren Rubber Springs

On the right side the rubber axel will be close to the exhaust pipe approx.3inch at the top and approx. 5inch midway will the hot exhaust cause problems. Do I need some kind of heat shield?

I spoke with my contact at Timbren and he stated that as long as the exhaust pipe is not touching the rubber springs, # TGMRCK25S, then there should be no problem. You could mount some kind of heat shield if you wanted and it would not hurt anything.
