2023 Acura MDX Weight Distribution Recommendation for Towing a Little Guy Max Travel Trailer
Question:
Hello, I have a 2023 Acura MDX AWD that I will be towing a 3000 lb Little Guy Max camping trailer. Can a weight distribution system be used on the MDX? If so, what system would you recommend? Thanks for your help!

The best place to check compatibility of a weight distribution system is the owner's manual, and when I looked up the online version for your 2023 Acura MDX it stated that one isn't necessary but if you wish to use one then you just need to make sure it is set up correctly (page 436).
Our general rule of thumb is if the weight of the trailer is half the curb weight of the towing vehicle then a weight distribution needs to be used for best towing performance. Since this is the case for you, I recommend using a weight distribution system.
My favorite system is the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # BLU36FR because of the amount of adjustability and how intuitive it is to use. Just shoot for your loaded tongue weight to be at 13% of the loaded weight of your Little Guy Max and you'll get the best performance out of this system.
