Troubleshooting No Power to Prodigy P3 Installed on a 2023 Ford Explorer
Question:
I bought a brake controller harness 3035-P for my 2023 Explorer to connect my Tekonsha P3. When I connect 2 different Tekonsha P3’s the display does not light up. I checked the harness with a test light and I get power when I push the brake on the red wire. I get no power on the black wire. What should I check next.

Since you aren't seeing power on the black wire for the Tekonsha Wiring Adapter 3035-P that's why your Prodigy P3 # 90195 screen isn't lighting up. That black wire is for the 12V power and without it your controller won't function.
To remedy this you need to check fuse 42 in your fuse box. Most likely this fuse is busted and needs to be replaced.
