The Progressive Dynamics 2000 Watt Inverter w/ Transfer Switch # PD64FR you were looking at is an inverter and would actually drain the battery in order to power items inside of your RV. To charge your trailer batteries you'll need a converter instead. Progressive Dynamics converters will typically have some sort of BMS or charge wizard to read the battery charge level and adjust the voltage accordingly, but will drop the voltage is there's no significant battery usage for 30 hours.

You can decrease the charge time by installing a higher amperage converter, but you'll most likely need to use thicker gauge wires to connect to the battery than what you currently have. For example, the Progressive Dynamics 9200 Inteli-Power Converter # PD9245C you also looked at has a 45amp rating. Your current converter will have an amperage rating listed on it somewhere so that you can match or increase the amperage to suit your needs.
