How to Add 12V Power and Brake Controller Functions to 7-Way Connector on a 1998 Chevy Pickup

I have 1998 Chevy Silverado that already has a 7 pin connector that I need to hook up the brake and 12 volt wires. I need to add a brake controller. So I need to know what exactly I need to purchase to get thus done. Thank you

To add the 12V power and brake controller functions to your 1998 Chevy Silverado you need the Wiring Kit # 5506, which includes all of the wiring, connections, and breakers you need to complete the installation.

What you'll need to do is route these wires from those functions on your 7-Way up to the the cab of your truck. We did an installation of our Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7 on a 1996 Chevy pickup that I'm linking for you to check out.
