Parts Needed to Add 4-Way to Trailer & Tow With Vehicle With 7-Way
Question:
Hello. Im attempting to re-wire a small, brakeless, 8 utility trailer and tow it with my 2010 Honda Pilot. It seems like all that I need are a p/n A25W2GWB trailer wiring harness and a p/n PK12716 7-pole to 4-way adapter. Am I missing anything? Also about how long should I make the pig-tail from the trailer ball recess to the vehicle to allow for proper turning? Thank you

Yes, you have the parts right; if you are just trying to add a new 4-way to your trailer and then tow it with your Honda Pilot that has a 7-way you can just use the parts you mentioned:
- 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness # A25W2GWB
- Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter # PK12716
So you aren't missing anything and you only need a couple feet for the pigtail.
