Is There A Replacement For A Leland AF 7900 Pin Box
Question:
Looking for pin box options for my 1998 Jayco Eagle 5th wheel camper. It has a Leland AF 7900 receiver with a straight pin box. My truck has a 6.5foot box and already has a BandW gooseneck hitch that I use with other trailers, but I could use a BandW companion 5th wheel hitch also. I need a medium or long pin box. The straight pin box just wont let me turn with the camper attached. The Leland 7900 receiver needs a 14inch wide pin box, it has 7inch hole centers horizontally and 1.5inch hole centers vertically. The only option I found so far is the Popup RVGC-4220A, which would be the gooseneck coupler. Im open to fifth wheel or gooseneck couplers, its just hard to find the 14inch wide pin boxs it seems. Im looking for low budget options, as the camper is older.

We unfortunately don't currently offer a compatible replacement for a Leland AF 7900 at this time so the only option I can recommend at this time would be to replace the base of your companion with a slider base # BWRVB3775 to gain an additional 12" of turning clearance.
