Could Skid Wheels be Used to Lower Trailer to Store in Garage
Question:
Hello, I am looking for a creative solution to getting my boat and trailer under my garage door for winter storage and these might work. I am thinking I could bolt 4 of these to the axles, remove the tires, and back the trailer slowly into the garage. The axle is a 3” by 2” rectangular tube. Picture for reference. Any reason this wouldn’t work? Last year I deflated the tires on the trailer and came within about 1/2 inch of clearing.

That is a pretty creative solution that maybe could work but we can't really guarantee any results since skid wheels part # UF48-979018 weren't designed for that.
