Is it Normal For The L-Brackets On Blue Ox Track Pro Weight Distribution Hitch To Pitch Forward?
Question:
Hello, after towing with Blue Ox track pro the trailer plate mounting L brackets tilted forward. Is this normal? Blue Ox doesnt give a torque setting for the bolts. Obviously too much torque would possibly crush the trailer frame. Any suggestions? 27ft. REI Salem / Silverado 1500 Thank you

As long as the Spring Bars # BLU52FR lay flat on the L-Brackets # BLU72QR for your Blue Ox Track Pro weight distribution you are okay to use the brackets pitched slightly forward. The only issue would be if the spring bar is only touching the edge off the L-brackets as this would reduce the sway protection due to the limited surface area.
I have linked the installation instructions for the Blue Ox TrackPro # BLU77FR which contains the torque settings for the L-Brackets on page 5.
