We do offer several bike carriers that will work on your 2010 Mazda 3 with a hatchback.
If you want a hanging bike carrier I recommend the Thule Apex 2 Bike Carrier, part # TH9024XT. This carrier has a tilting feature that allows access to the rear area of your vehicle. This carrier will fit hitches with a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. This carrier holds bike frames at 3 different points which will help prevent sway and bike-to-bike contact. For added security I recommend the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock, part # THSTL2.
When using a hanging bike carrier and if you are planning on carrying womens bikes or any bikes with alternative bike frames I recommend a bar adapter like part # TH982XT. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and provides more ground clearance while allowing the bikes to remain more level on the carrier.
If you are looking for a platform-style carrier for your bikes, I recommend the Swagman XTC-2, part # S64670. This carrier secures bikes at 3 different points, can carry 2 bikes regardless of their frame size. The center post can be lowered when the bikes are removed to allow access to the rear of the vehicle.
I also recommend the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable, part # S64031. This kit will secure not only the carrier to the hitch, but also secure the bikes to the carrier.
I have attached a couple of videos that show the carriers being installed.
