Why Would Trike Trailer Wiring Not Work Right with Trailer
Question:
I have a trike with a 5 pin flat and my tow behind trailer is a 4flat I have everything but brake lite on the tralier. any Ideas

It's because the trike has the brake lights separate from the turn signals and standard trailer wiring that has a 4-way has these two circuits combined on the same circuit. So what you would need is a signal converter installed on the trike wiring with the # HM48847 which will combine the circuits.
