Should The Gen-Y Glyder Shock Absorbing Ball Mount Slope Down Under Load?
Question:
I attached the GEN-y GLYDER TORSION FLEX hitch I have a tongue weight of 425lbs with a Gross camper weight of 3800 The ball on the hitch angled slightly up until I put the trailer ball on it After the full weight it was sloping down slightly Is this correct ??? Is there an adjustment to tighten the torsion??

Yes, it is normal for the Gen-Y Glyder Shock Absorbing Ball Mount # 325-GH-12001 to slope down when loaded. This particular hitch is rated for trailers up to 7,000lbs with an optimal tongue weight of 400-700lbs. There is no adjustment available for the hitch but do understand the hitch does have a 500 mile break in period to get the hitch to optimal performance.
