Troubleshooting An Electric Trailer Jack That Isn't Working When Plugged Into A Vehicle 7-Way
Question:
What can you do when there is apparently not enough voltage from the vehicle plug to the jack plug to operate the jack?. Works when hooked up to a jumper box, but not from a vehicle.

If there's an issue with the vehicle's 7-way not providing enough voltage for the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack # LC285318 to properly operate, but you're not having this problem when connecting to a jump box then you'll need to test the voltage at the 7-way and work your way backwards to the power source to determine the issue. It could be a simple as a blown fuse in the vehicle. I recommend looking in your owner's manual to determine which fuse powers the 12v and checking to see if it needs to be replaced.
