Recommended Hitch for a 2023 Kia Sportage

I am interested in having a tow hitch and wiring installed on a 2023 Kia Sportage. Is this a service you can provide? If so, is there any trimming or modification of the back bumper area required? Thanks

If you are in the area of Wentzville MO 63385 we do provide installation services. You would need to contact customer service to get on the schedule. If you live outside of this area we do have a network of reliable installers all over the country. You will want to go to the left hand side of the Item # C94WR product page. Underneath the installation videos is a blue link that says Locate installers near me. You will want to input your zip code to access the list of installers.
There is no trimming or modification required when installing the Curt item # C94WR. I have linked the instructions below so you can see what all is involved in getting this hitch installed.
To add a hitch to your 2023 Kia Sportage, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C94WR you were looking at. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Kia with included hardware.
For a wiring harness you will want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C99DR. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Sportage's wiring harness, which is located behind the tail lights. It will provide you with a 4-way connector to control your trailer or accessory's lighting functions.
If you plan on towing, I also recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
