Troubleshooting A Go Power 700 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter Low Voltage Error

Question:

Our GP-ISW700 was purchased in 2020 to use in our travel trailer to run my CPAP, which it did in 2020 and 2021. It was not used in 2022. It was turned on today, made a growling noise and now displays a slow red flashing light. This means under voltage. It was checked and has 13.6 voltage. We have tried to reset it according to directions with no success. Any advice as to how to proceed? Is it ruined? Thank you for your time.

A slow red blinking light would indicate a low voltage with the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter # 34279946. When you measure for voltage are you measuring at the inverter or at the battery? If you measure at the battery there could be a voltage drop between the battery and the inverter causing the issue. When you start up the inverter do you already have items plugged into it or are you testing while there's a load on the inverter? I would remove anything plugged into the inverter and test the voltage and then also test the voltage when your CPAP machine is plugged into it to see if there's a drop when a load is introduced. Let me know what you find and we can troubleshoot the issue further.
