Availability of Brake Controller Quick Connect Harness for 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

the dealer tells me there is no adapter made for this truck yet u have to make your own....is this true??

There is now a quick-connect brake controller installation harness available for your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The Curt Venturer brake controller # C51110 can be installed in your Silverado with the harness # C51451 that connects to an under-dash port.

This Curt brake controller is the time-delayed type that applies a pre-determined amount of braking power whenever the tow vehicle brakes are applied. The other type is a proportional controller, which is generally preferred since it applies trailer brakes proportionally to the tow vehicle and results in increased braking efficiency and reduced brake wear.
