Can Electric Trailer Brakes be Used on Boat Trailers

Question:

Hello I have a boat trailer that currently does not have brakes. I am planning on installing brakes. However, I have an a frame and not a straight tongue. I am open to disc brakes or drum brakes but I have a hard time finding any kind of actuator for an A-frame in the solution to submersing the brakes in water. What product would you recommend?

It might seem weird, but you can actually use electric brakes on boat trailers without any issues. Some people will disconnect the trailer wiring when the boat is in the water but oddly enough it doesn't hurt anything.

I attached a link to this page that has a guide for adding electric brakes for you to check out as well as a link for adding hydraulic brakes.
