I recommend using the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver # RM-077-8 which separates the receivers 8" from bottom edge to top edge of the different receiver. The Roadmaster Tow Defender # RM-4750 sits roughly 4" above the top edge of the receiver and depending on your bike rack this ensures you have enough room to easily move the screen out of the way to disconnect your flat towed vehicle rather than having to unload the bikes over the front of your flat towed vehicle before you can disconnect.

Do remember you need to ensure your tow bars are still within 3" of level and this dual hitch has either a 2" drop or 8" drop.
