Recommended 2 Inch Hitch for a 2023 Mazda CX-5
Question:
I need a 2" hitch for my 2023 Mazda CX-5.

To add a 2" hitch to your 2023 Mazda CX-5, I recommend the Curt Hitch item # C13315. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It is custom fit and bolts to your Mazda with included hardware. I really like this hitch because the crosstube mounts behind the rear bumper. This leaves only the 2" receiver visible.
The Curt Hitch item # C13315 has a 4,000 lbs towing capacity and a 600 lbs maximum tongue weight. This hitch has plenty of capacity to not only carry accessories but also pull a trailer.
I have attached a couple of pictures below along with an installation video so you can see what this hitch looks like when installed.
Since you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C45FV and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
