Recommended Tow Bar And Baseplate For A 2022 Chevy Equinox

Can you help me with baseplates and tow bar for my 2022 Chevy Equinox? I already have the braking system and electronics

For a 2022 Chevy Equinox I recommend the Curt Custom Base Plate Kit # C28FR. It's the only baseplate currently available that is compatible with lower active air shutters so that you won't have to trim or cut yours. To go along with your Curt baseplate you'll also need the Curt Rambler Steel Tow Bar # C26FR. This tow bar is going to come with safety cables and will be easy peasy to connect to your baseplate.
Once you have your baseplate installed you'll want to measure the height from the center of the arms to the center of the trailer hitch receiver on your motorhome. The tow bar will need to be level between these two points with only a 3" maximum tolerance either up or down. If you have a larger height difference then you'll also need to use a high/low adapter. If you need one then let me know the difference and I can find the appropriate adapter for you.
